Matte aqueous coating is the most common finish on kraft soap boxes — it provides surface protection while maintaining the natural, tactile character of the kraft surface. Gloss or matte lamination is specified for SBS board variants. Spot UV on the logo is available on bleached kraft and SBS. Hot foil stamping in gold or copper is a popular embellishment for soap brands positioning at a premium price point — the metallic against kraft or dark-coloured board is a strong visual combination.
